How does it decide what to trade?
In the first 15 minutes after the market opens, it notes the highest and lowest price each stock touched — that's the "opening range." If a stock's price then breaks above that early high, it treats that as a sign of momentum and buys in. Every trade automatically gets a stop-loss (sells if the price drops back to the bottom of that opening range) and a profit target (sells once the gain is about twice the size of the risk being taken). No automated system can guarantee a profit — this is a real trading strategy with real risk, not a sure thing, which is exactly why it only risks a small, fixed slice of account equity per trade and stops itself for the day if losses add up too fast.
